On my informal list of things to do: learn &lt;a href="http://www.farsinet.com/farsi/"&gt;Farsi&lt;/a&gt;, ground myself in the &lt;a href="http://www.loc.gov/rr/main/alcove9/classics.html"&gt;Greco-Latin &lt;/a&gt;traditional texts, relearn &lt;a href="http://www.jewfaq.org/alephbet.htm"&gt;Hebrew&lt;/a&gt; so it will stick this time (&lt;a href="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&amp;lr=&amp;amp;safe=off&amp;q=genesis+bresheit"&gt;prayerbook&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.goisrael.com/tourism_eng"&gt;modern&lt;/a&gt;). Oh, and read &lt;a href="http://www.bhagavad-gita.org/"&gt;&lt;em&gt;The Bhagavad Gita&lt;/em&gt; &lt;/a&gt;this summer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.mythfolklore.net/1001nights/"&gt;&lt;em&gt;1001 Nights&lt;/em&gt; &lt;/a&gt;next summer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I guess I really should have called this blog &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semitic"&gt;Semiticist&lt;/a&gt;.
